Samantha - Daughter of Apollo - 7th year
I walk around my cabin, bow strapped on my back but quiver is on my bed. I have on arrow in my hand. My half-brother is somewhere else in the camp. I met him when he first got to camp. He was two years older then me and taller by a long shot. I was only 13 he was 15. So of course he was taller then me.
I looked out the window and saw all the kids playing with wooden swords. Looks like they are having fun. I can't have fun. I won't ever have fun. Not ever again. Last time I played like them I gave a kid a black eye. They then started to beat on me and I let them.
I go back to my bed and put my hand on my quiver. I play with the arrows trying to pick witch one to shot at the target on the wall. When I picked the right one I shot it off at the target and got the middle. Me and my half-brother always get the middle.
I look out the window again. I see him walking down to the unlit campfire. I try to smile but he doesn't always like to smile or wave back. So I just sit at the window and look at everybody. I see the two siblings from the Hades cabin going to the strawberry bushes. I turn and see my brother looking at me. I wave and wait for him to do something.

Narrating, Talking, Thoughts, Others Talking
Wren gave a huff of irritation as he dragged his feet towards the unit campfire. While there were plenty of activities he could be participating in, in his mind there was absolutely nothing to do on this day.
[/size] Who needs to graduate anyways? I hated that school in the first place.
None of his thoughts could cushion the blow, however, that hit Wren as he imagined all of his friends wearing those stupid hats and smiling like fools as they finally reached the day they had all been dreaming of: graduation. The day I had been waiting for since I was just a freshman. We were going to go down to the lake afterwards and have the craziest party ever. Cursing low under his breath, Wren kicked a stone a few feet away.
"But no, I won't graduate from high school. I won't be at the party we all planned the beginning of freshman year. And why? Because I wouldn't want to ruin her 'perfect family,' he grumbled when he suddenly felt someone's eyes on him. Turning around, Wren's eyes finally landed on Samantha, his half sister. She suddenly waved and he gave her a half hearted wave before trudging up to where she was. "Hey Samantha," he greeted, forcing a casual grin onto his face.

I turned to face my brother. "Hi". Have you ever got the feeling that you wish your brother never was your brother. Well I have that right now. Only not because he is mean but because he is cute. I sometimes wish he wasn't my brother but he is so I have to live with it.
