Personality: Celeste, like her father, has a stormy temper and an icy glare when she wants to. She is a passionate child with absolutely no common sense, though she is very smart. She loves people and her siblings, and is fiercly loyal...and can hold a grudge like no other. She is fun to be around though she has a loud mouth and an opinion on everything. She knows the difference between right and wrong, but she is rash, and often blinded by her prejudices. Celeste is a leader.
There is something unusual about Celeste...or rather, something entirely normal. She has no power over the water. She has no connection with it. She can't even hold her breath for any great length of time under it. Her power is not inherited from her father's rule of the seas, it is inherited from his other power. Poseidon is also known as Earthshaker. And so is Celeste. She can shake the earth, not cataclysmically (although her councilors think that she might be able to if she could just control her emotions) but enough to knock people over and give her an advantage. She can also quell and earth quake, as long as it's not to large.

So whats your Story
Lora Poole had recently gone through a divorce. It had been a messy event, during which the full extent of her husband's unfaithfulness had come to light. With her three young children Kyle (12), Jenna (10), and Lily (7), she moved out of the states to England. There she met Peter Elliot...better known as Poseidon. Desperate for love, she had an affair with the handsome man. What she wasn't counting on was her fourth child.
Celeste was born almost a year later, but Peter Elliot was long gone. She was given her mother's maiden name (Poole) even though all of her siblings retained their father's name (Harrison). The four children grew up close, they loved and protected each other. None of the older ones grudged Celeste. Rather, they fiercly gaurded her. Lora Poole was a resilient woman, and went on to become a very successful business woman. This set up her children for private school. All four went to an elite private school where Celeste learned Latin...and starting in fifth grade, Greek. Celeste was a prodigy in Greek. It came naturally to her, so naturally that it scared her. This was the first time Celeste had a hint about her lineage.
In seventh grade, Celeste discovered her power. She had become angry, nevermind why, but she had never been so angry before in her life. As she screamed, the earth began to shake and shiver. When she finally calmed down, the tremor was over. A few short days later, another tremor shook her home. Horribly afraid, she willed the earth to stop. And it did.
Celeste and her mom were soon contacted by Camp Half Blood, the representative explained everything. Together, they decided that the best thing for Celeste was to go live at Camp. One day at camp, a gift arrived in the mail. It was from her father, and it was a simple staff. Celeste spent days trying to discover it's use. It was ornate, with intricate carvings of the depths of the sea and the bowels of the earth. She learnedd to fight with it, but it was completely ordinary, a giant (very pretty) staff. Until, one day, Celeste was playing capture the flag. She decided to try and shimmy the earth to throw off her opponents. She hit the earth with her staff and immediately discovered it's use...it magnified her powers.
She still wasn't able to open the earth or produce massive shocks, but she was certainly able to produce and tame potent quakes.
